What is advance prescribing?

Advance prescribing, also known as prophylactic prescribing, is the practice of providing medications to have on hand in case they are needed in the future.

When you purchase a Med Kit, you'll complete a mandatory physician review before any prescriptions are provided to you. During the review, we’ll ask you questions to determine what type of prophylactic prescriptions might be appropriate for your circumstances.

Our provider will ensure you understand the risks and benefits of the medications and supplies you’ll receive. During this process, you will receive information about the importance of using these products only if truly necessary, and we will require you to agree that you'll use these products for their intended purpose only.
