What components make up the cost of the Med Kit?

The Med Kit price includes 3 components: Pharmaceutical costs, Medical visit costs, and Administrative costs.

The Medical and Administrative components are retained by Duration Health to cover physician and administrative costs, respectively. Administrative costs cover the physical materials that come with your kit (for example the softshell bag and Field Guide), as well as non-clinical support staff. The pharmacy costs are passed through directly to our partner pharmacy to cover the cost of the medications themselves, pharmacist dispensing fees, and shipping.

Optionally adding medications to your kit in collaboration with your Duration Health physician may increase the cost of each of these components, and thereby increase the total cost of your kit. Any additions are entirely optional.
